Methodology
Through time, Icons has developed an effective methodology used not only in dealing with clients, but with everyday tasks and procedures. This methodology has proved successful as the company strives to the top of the Internet Security market area.
Having a system in place that maintains system integrity, information confidentiality, and information availability is the primary objective of data system security. In order to meet that primary objective, each Icons project is based on the process of Securing, Testing, Monitoring, and Improving the infrastructure and practices that enable commerce in the digital age. This methodology for client projects is applied not only to the systems evaluated, but also the applications and "social" factors. This methodology sets us apart from our competition: the systems, policies, and practices that enable Icons to identify, deploy, and constantly improve expertise and solutions that are unique and based on best practices developed by some of the brightest minds in the industry.
Through a process of identifying effective practices and mirroring those practices from one client to the next, Icons aggregates and deploys information and experience into timely resources and leading-edge practices, and rapidly integrates solutions effectively. Our leadership team was trained by the National Security Agency (NSA) in the most advanced INFOSEC Assessment Methodology (IAM), a designation that brings with it a request by the Program Manager of the IAM to "assist in raising the INFOSEC posture of the U.S. government and critical infrastructures."
At Icons, security is way of life. It is integrated into everything that we do every day, and it's what makes us different. With our singular focus and commitment to excellence, we are able to provide our customers with solutions that exceed expectations, and set the pace for others to follow.
